Communications Division

The Communications Division is staffed by a Communications Supervisor and 9 full-time Communications Officers. This Division is a 24-hour, 7 days a week operation and is the hub of the Police Department. They handle over 20,000 calls per year and are the first point of contact the public has with the Police Department. The Communications Division is responsible for all incoming telephone calls, including 911 calls, and all walk-in complaints. Alicia Wines is the Communications Supervisor for the Front Royal Police Department.

Records Division

The Records Specialist maintains, processes, and retrieves various law enforcement related records, warrants, and summonses. Performs specialized police related records management, data entry and record-keeping duties; maintains all reports and applies retention laws when required. The Records Specialist is the department's point of contact for all FOIA requests. The Records Division is staffed by our Records Specialist, Rebecca Gallagher.

Evidence Division

The Police Evidence Technician maintains security, processing, storage and disposal of all evidence and property coming into the custody of the police department according to State and Federal laws and departmental procedures. The Front Royal Police Department Evidence Technician is Deb Moore.
