1. Community Development

    The Community Development Director manages the outreach to existing Town businesses to enhance our business community.

  2. Energy Services

    The Department of Energy Services provides electrical services for over 7,500 customers in the Town of Front Royal and Warren County.

  3. Public Works

    The Public Works Department ensures the citizens of Front Royal are provided the highest quality service possible.

  4. Finance

    The Finance Department consists of 5 areas: Administration, Customer Service, Bookkeeping, Meter Reading and Purchasing.

  5. Human Resources

    Human Resources include recruitment, selection and retention of competent employees; maintenance of the classification system; ensuring a competitive compensation package for Town employees on behalf of Town citizens; and administration and assistance with employee health and retirement benefits.

    The Front Royal Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency.

  7. Information Technology

    The Department of Information Technology works to develop and maintain modern information systems, which enhance employee efficiency in a cost-effective manner and thus enable Town employees to better serve the citizens of Front Royal.

  8. Planning & Zoning

    The overall Department's mission is to promote the orderly growth of the community through the development and enforcement of plans and regulations that promote health, safety and general welfare of Town citizens.

    The Town's Risk Management directs strategic planning, facilitates Departmental training and recommends rules, policies and procedures to accomplish risk management goals related to employee and workplace safety, loss control, claims, and insurance program objectives.

  11. Tourism

    The Department of Tourism is responsible for promoting and marketing Front Royal and Warren County to regional, national and international tourism markets.

  12. Town Attorney

    The Office of the Town Attorney provides legal counsel to the Mayor, Town Council, Planning Commission, Town Manager and staff, and other Town agencies.

  13. Town Manager

    The Town Manager's Office is comprised of the Town Manager and an Executive Assistant.
