Establishing Service

The Town of Front Royal provides water, sewer, and solid waste pick-up service to all residents within the Town limits.

Please follow the steps below to ESTABLISH SERVICE:

IN PERSON

You will need the following:

1) Photo ID

2) Current letter of credit from a previous utility supplier or payment for a deposit

A Service Agreement is required to be signed and a $5.00 work order fee collected at time of establishment of service.

If a deposit is due it shall be an amount equal to the highest monthly bill for the existing location during the preceding twelve (12) months or $125.00 ($200.00 for commercial) whichever is greater. If it is a newly established residential or commercial service location, it is an amount equal to the customer's anticipated monthly usage of water and electric service. Deposits are refunded with interest upon 1) termination of service and no other debts are owed to the Town of Front Royal and 2) upon the customer's request after twelve (12) months of service during which there were no more than four (4) delinquent payments and no other debts are owed to the Town of Front Royal.

All paperwork must be completed before 12:00 in order for service to be established that day.

BY MAIL

You will need the following:

1) The Town of Front Royal Utility Application SIGNED AND NOTARIZED ( may be obtained by calling the Business Office or retrieving from the website)

2) Letter of credit from a previous utility supplier or payment for a deposit. (Please call the Business Office for the correct amount of Deposit)

3) $5.00 work order fee

Please allow at least ten (10) days before the request is due when using the mailing method

DISCONTINUING SERVICE

IN PERSON

Sign paperwork (ID may be required)

BY MAIL
