The Department of Environmental Services reviews all proposed construction plans connecting to existing Town roads. Designs should include plan and profile views with vertical/horizontal alignment data, average daily traffic data, stormwater conveyance and management, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, and all data necessary for review.
The Town has adopted new construction standards, which are available from the Purchasing Agent at (540) 636-6889.
All proposed road construction and connections thereto must be designed and constructed in conformance with the following criteria, unless otherwise approved by the Department:
