A.    A Municipal Planning Commission for the Town is hereby created, in accordance with the provisions of applicable state law.

B.    There shall be seven (7) members of such Planning Commission, appointed by the Town Council, all of whom shall be residents of the town, and who shall be freeholders qualified by knowledge and experience to make decisions on questions of community growth and development.  One (1) member of the Commission may be a member of the Town Council, and one (1) member may be a member of the administrative branch of the government of the town.  The councilmanic member and the administrative official shall be ex officio members without voting power.
