Section 134-8 FEDERAL CATEGORICAL PRETREATMENT STANDARDS
A. Users
subject to Categorical Pretreatment
Standards are required to comply with applicable standards as set out
in 40 CFR
Chapter 1, Subchapter N, Parts 405-471, and incorporated herein.
B. Industrial
users shall provide wastewater
treatment necessary to comply with this Article and shall comply with
all
Categorical Pretreatment Standards and the local limits and
prohibitions set
out in this Article. All facilities required to pretreat
wastewater shall
be provided, operated and maintained at the industrial user's sole
expense.
Detailed plans showing all pretreatment facilities and outlining
operating procedures shall be submitted to the Town for review and
approval
before construction of any pretreatment facility. The Town's
review of
said plans and operating procedures shall not relieve the industrial
user from
the responsibility of making any necessary modifications to the
pretreatment
facilities in order to obtain compliance with the provisions of this
Article.
