Chapter 124 PROPERTY, LOST OR ABANDONED.
Section 124-3 EFFORT TO DETERMINE OWNERSHIP.
The Chief of Police shall make a reasonable effort to determine the owner or owners of the lost
or abandoned property and to return the property to the legal owner or owners.
