Section 110-9 ATTEMPTS TO COMMIT MISDEMEANORS.
Every person who attempts to commit an offense which is a misdemeanor shall be confined in
jail not exceeding six (6) months or fined not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars ($250.), either
or both.
